 Mandy Rollins

DJ Mandy Rollins' electronic, percussive, deep tribal house moulds with hands of technical wizardry and spine-tingling accuracy to produce the sound dominating Sydney underground. Headlining all residencies including the unique, intimate underground, Oxford St venue The Phoenix, the internationally famous Hellfire Club or Queer Nation at the Southern Hemisphere's largest nightclub, HOME declares her versatility and creativity valid.

Since her arrival in 1996 to Sydney's Sleaze Ball, Mandy Rollins cut her teeth at the men's only leather bar, The Barracks (now Manacle) earning her stripes amongst the sexy, masculine leather community and playing the bulk of this community's major parties, Inquisition and Indulgence.

Hot, dirty and sweaty venues maybe the exceptional, inimitable beginnings but Mandy Rollins has weaved her sound through lounge bars, girls spaces, commercial parties resulting in three CDs in her seven year career, namely Red Raw 2001 and Sydney Gay and Lesbian CD 2002 with promotional tours and carhartt clothing endorsement.

Enhanced by continual media attention through Australian circuit magazines, papers, internet sites and radio, DJ Mandy Rollins' tribe grows as a respectful, eclectic, loyal-to-the-end fan-base who she bares in her mind's forefront. Playing parties of 25 000 at Fox Studios, male-only saunas, Sunday afternoon tea parties, Saturday clubbing or weekday ambience style, it's is all part of Mandy Rollins' distinguished experience.

The success of her seductive, percussive sets, have seen Mandy quickly develop a reputation as the "Queen of Tribal House." With six Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras parties and five Sleaze Ball parties under her belt alone, her unique music style has become an aural commodity in Australian club land. Capturing the spirit of cutting edge nightlife to keep the funkiest venues rockin' alive, Mandy's music hits you where you live.
